STMicroelectronics’ TSZ12x series of accurate operational amplifiers offers a very low input-offset voltage with almost zero drift.
The TSZ12x CMOS devices achieve a low offset drift and eliminate 1/f noise because of their chopper architecture. Chopper-stabilised op amps constantly correct low-frequency errors across the inputs of the amplifier.
The offset voltage is rated at a maximum 5μV at 25°C. Even over the full temperature range of -40°C to 125°C, the offset rises to no more than 8μV. This exceptional accuracy and stability is combined in the TSZ12x series with an excellent speed/power consumption ratio.
The op amps feature a 400kHz gain-bandwidth product, while drawing less than 40μA at 5V.
The devices also operate from an ultra-low input-bias current. These features make the TSZ12x family ideal for sensor interfaces and battery-powered applications.
The devices can operate from input voltages ranging from 1.8V to 5.5V. The parameters are fully specified for 1.8V, 3.3V, and 5V power supplies, but are very stable across the full supply-voltage range.
