The 150 CRZ series of aluminium capacitors from Vishay provides robust performance in power-supply designs and high-temperature electronics, withstanding high ripple currents while featuring impedance as low as 35μΩ.
The 150 CRZ devices are polarised aluminium electrolytic capacitors with a non-solid electrolyte that has self-healing properties. The ripple-current rating is specified at a frequency of 100kHz and a temperature of 105°C. At these values, some 150 CRZ capacitors in the largest 18mm x 18mm x 21mm case size can withstand ripple current as high as 1,756mA.
The 150 CRZ capacitors are ideal for use in applications that call for the filtering of unwanted noise, smoothing of DC voltages or the buffering of electrical energy, or in which super-imposed AC ripple must be decoupled from the supply rail.
Some members of the 150 CRZ product series are rated for an extended useful life of 10,000 hours at up to 105°C. The devices are charge- and discharge-proof and there is no peak current limitation.
